Here’s an extract from an email I recently received from a principal with whom I started working with a few weeks ago:
Here are some of the revelations I have had over the last couple of weeks since we met:
- Associates don’t have to earn what I earn (especially if they are on a reasonable hourly rate)
- Associates can’t earn what I earn even if they wanted to (thanks for that one, very helpful clarification!)
- Associates quite happy to earn significantly less than me doing stuff which is simpler/easier and perhaps most importantly – WITHIN THEIR COMFORT ZONE
- Match-up the right patients with the right dentist within the same practice
I just didn’t get this until now. I was too busy trying to turn my associates in to mini-me’s….this change of ideas could be the removal of a major roadblock…
