Chris Barrow to join Genix Healthcare as Non-Executive Director

Chris Barrow, who has 15 years experience as a consultant, trainer and coach to the UK dental profession, is to join Genix Healthcare Limited as a Non-Executive Director.

As well as continuing to coach many of the UK’s top independent practices, until recently he has been a consultant to the Private & Specialist Division of Integrated Dental Holdings Limited.

Chris has recently been re-confirmed for a second year by the readers of Dentistry Magazine as the 2nd most influential person in their “Top 50” list of UK dental thought leaders.

Genix acquired its first clinic in 2006 and has since grown to more than 20 clinics, its most recent openings being at Havant and Eastleigh in Hampshire.

Welcoming Chris to the board, Mustafa Mohammed, Managing Director, said “we currently have a great opportunity to continue to expand our portfolio of clinics, we also want to continue to improve the patient experience at both our existing and future clinics.  Chris brings a wealth of experience and broad skillset that will help us grow the business and take it to the next level.”

Chris added, “Genix is a business I have been watching and talking to for almost three years and I’m very excited to be joining them at this crucial stage of their development and looking forward to helping them achieve their ambitious growth plans.

The appointment reflects my on-going interest in independent, in-store and corporate dentistry. I believe there is plenty of room in the UK market for all distribution systems.

I am especially attracted to working with Genix as we share the same core values around quality of care and the development of people within organisations.”
