9.00am at the Hilton Hotel in Cobham, Surrey.
We have 10 people in the room for our workshop – we are expecting 40.
There are road accidents on the M25 at junctions 8, 9 and 10 – the motorway has been closed.
Our delegates are in cars and mini-buses, stranded. Mobile phone calls coming in to say they may not be here until lunchtime in some cases.

I pity the couple who arrived at 8.00am – fresh and early – they are looking crestfallen.
