The Dentistry Show, organised by Closerstill Media Healthcare Ltd, was launched in 2007 and is now the UKs fastest growing Dentistry Exhibition and Conference.
Attracting near to 3,000 delegates and over 200 visitors in its fourth year, the show attributes its success to the conference programme and practical workshops delivering first class verifiable CPD content with leading industry speakers from around the world.
Bridge2Aid (B2A) is a charity working in the Mwanza region of North West Tanzania and provides primary dental care and education to communities in Tanzania, equips and trains local health personnel to provide emergency dental care, cares for and empowers some of the poorest in Tanzanian society together with providing opportunities for UK dental professionals and others to serve Tanzania. Working closely with the Tanzanian Government, B2A operates a not-for-profit dental clinic in the city of Mwanza, and have a development programme for disadvantaged communities.
Quote from B2A (Mark Topley, Chief Executive): “We are delighted to be exhibiting at the Dentistry Show thanks to the generosity of the organisers. The show has become a ‘must visit’ for many dentists in a very short space of time. For us it promises to be a great opportunity to meet with old and new supporters and to profile the Unity Partnership – a unique corporate social responsibility partnership for dental practices and businesses. We hope that the contacts we make at the Dentistry Show will help us to increase our impact this year on the lives of many thousands of people suffering dental pain in East Africa.”
2011 will see five clinical lecture streams targeting the whole dental team (Aesthetic Dentist, Dental Business, Hygienist & Therapist Symposium, Nursing Network, and Aesthetic Technician), running throughout the show, with speakers including Michael Wise, Tidu Mankoo, John Stanfield, and Sheila Scott amongst 50 others, built on the exhibition floor.
The Dental Business theatre will also be running again with speakers such as Chris Barrow and Sheila Scott, together with the very popular ‘Live Theatre’ where procedures such as implant surgery, whitening and laser treatment will be performed.
“Working closely with members of the dental industry has always been an important part of our strategy”, says Chris Brown, Show Director, “and this includes working with dental organisations within the third sector. We are pleased to support Bridge2Aid and hope many dentists will take the time to visit their stand and find out how to get involved.”
The Dentistry Show is an event that seamlessly blends clinical and commercial insight to support and equip practice owners, partners, dentists, managers, nurses, hygienists, therapists and administrators for the challenges ahead, and it’s all FREE.
