I am a Luddite when it comes to books.
The chance to browse around the Falmouth Bookstore when Annie and I go bimbling on a Saturday afternoon.
The weight of a good hardback novel.
The smell of new pages opening.
The tactile relationship with a good book when you are curled up on the sofa on a rainy afternoon, in front of an open fire.
Bookshelves at home overflowing with memories of your escape into other worlds and lives.
How could a plastic box replace all of that?
The new Kindle DX from Amazon will surely replace the magazine and newspaper – I get that.
But the book?
Surely not?
