Waking up with my miserable head on

Don’t ask why – it would make me seem pathetic if I gave you an accurate answer – but sometimes we just wake up with the miserable head on – thinking about all the crap stuff.
Today is that day.
Beautiful sunny day outside – dark, windswept, cold and lonely inside (my head that is).
Faking enthusiasm for the calls and emails that are lined up for the day.
I’ve been at it since 5.00am and need to shake myself out of this trough of self-pity.
No use to anybody like this.
As my friend Paul Fox describes it – “icing on dog shit”.
So I’m going to get my running gear on and get some fresh air.
I don’t know of any other way to deal with it.
