Using You Tube to promote your practice to dentists and patients

My first question this morning is whether it would be useful to have 80 minutes of Chris Barrow, live and uncut, talking about:

  • tips for newly qualified dentists;
  • how to be a great associate;
  • what’s coming next in dentistry:
  • exit strategies for dental practice owners and
  • top business tips in the current marketplace.

all free of charge?

Well (as they say in advertising) “now you can”.

Take a look at Joe Bhat TV – a free subscription service on You Tube, where Joe not only interviews me but is gradually building a library of interviews with key opinion leaders and clinicians, including my buddy Colin Campbell.

You really do owe it to yourself to subscribe to this channel as it will only get better.

My second question is whether you can see the benefit of creating your own branded You Tube channel, either to promote GDP referrals if you seek them, or as a showcase for your patient video testimonials?

Take a look at my clients Tri-Dental in the West Midlands, a micro-corporate of 8 locations who are building an equally useful library and proving that folks of all ages and backgrounds are happy to talk to an iPhone camera for just a few moments.

You Tube is a much under-used resource in social media marketing and often overlooked in the stampede to populate Instagram and Facebook.

I’ve been inspired by Joe to create my own channel – watch that space.
