Using social media to sell your house – whatever next?

There has been much controversy over the last 24 hours after a Sydney, Australia estate agent broadcast a video on Twitter to sell a property in the affluent Padstow area.

This, to me, represents an intelligent use of social media to identify a demographic and communicate in an effective way – an innovative estate agent – now there’s an oxymoron for you.

Described by one commentator as “so breathtakingly horrific that it borders on art” it’s worth 2 minutes of your time if, for nothing else, to cheer you up before the rest of your day unfolds. I’ve no doubt you will love or hate the video.

I await the first such dental practice video with eager anticipation – given that we are already being entertained on Instagram by the likes of Dr. Angelo Lazaris in the same city Down Under and Dr. Daniel Rubinshtein in New York, it’s only a matter of time surely?

When I get home tonight, I’ll be asking Annie if she fancies a dance around the kitchen this weekend.
