The New Year begins

Monday morning.

Alarm call at 3.00am.

Depart Falmouth 3.45am and drive to Exeter airport for 7.00am flight to Edinburgh.

Arrive airport at 5.30am.  To be told that the flight is delayed until 11.45am this morning (“due to a technical fault”) Great.

Back to reality — and the inefficiencies of British local airlines.

Sat in the departure lounge at Exeter “International” Airport, with a chance to catch up on emails and have a good conversation with Simon.
