November DBC Prizewinner: Gareth Morris, Hook Dental, Hampshire
Prize: Three months of DBC digital coaching worth £750
I joined the DBC mailing list to keep in touch with what’s going on in dentistry at the moment. Chris has an uncanny skill of distilling what’s important and relevant in the dental business world.
I enjoy the people most in my job. They are far more interesting than teeth, but I enjoy the technical challenge of advanced restorative dentistry.
Winning the first prize of 3 months free coaching has come at a brilliant time. As the recession starts to bite and the latest new corporate practice opens across the road from my practice, it’s the perfect time to get some one-to-one guidance from Chris. He has already focused my attention on what’s selling and not selling in the dental market at present and helped me understand where my website should be positioned in an overall marketing strategy.

November DBC Prizewinner: David Cheung, Clayton Brook Dental, Preston
Prize: iPod Nano worth £129
I own a practice in Preston with my brother Daniel where we have been since 2009, and I’m hoping to acquire my second practice later this year. I was born and raised in Liverpool and qualified here BDS Lpool in 2003. My first encounter with Chris Barrow was at a GSK Talking Points event circa 2003-4. He was one of the main speakers and it was a very entertaining, interesting lecture.
What do I enjoy most about dentistry? I enjoy making the world a better place, one tooth at a time. I take satisfaction in making significant positive contributions to people’s well-being. I like seeing the immediate and long-term results of my treatments. I delight in exceeding patients’ expectations; changing patients’ perceptions, modifying behaviour, transferring knowledge.
